| Certificates for Diaspora Armenian Teachers |
Today, certificates were awarded to Diaspora Armenian teachers who are trained at the Pedagogical University.
The head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Diaspora of the Ministry of Diaspora Arkady Papoyan congratulated the teachers on the completion of the project.
Welcoming the participants of the 1-month training program, Arkady Papoyan expressed hope that the acquired abilities and skills will be targeted. “This is important both for us and for you. We need your support to understand what our educational institutions in the Diaspora need. I am sure that the days spent in Armenia will be unforgettable and will bring the reality of history as a reminder of the homeland. Rest assured, we are with you and ready to support you, ”he added.
The latter also expressed his gratitude to the Pedagogical University management and the program representatives for enriching the training with educational, cultural components and providing the necessary environment. He also expressed hope that the established ties will be strengthened and will have a good continuity for further cooperation and new initiatives.
“You are the ambassadors of the Armenian language in the countries where you work. This is a national preservation and preservation work, for which we are grateful to you first of all, ”said ASPU Vice-rector Ara Yeremyan and congratulated the trained teachers on behalf of the university administration.
Vice-rector Yeremyan emphasized that the annual training is carried out as a result of the political will of the Ministry of Education and Science and the daily and consistent work of the Pedagogical University. The Rector also added that the University is ready to continue the training program, to expand, to give a variety of directions, to outline new directions for project improvement.
“When you look back over the past month, your heart is filled with pride. Today we are all happy because we have fulfilled our heart's duty, an important part of our pedagogical mission, ”said Director of the Spyuk Scientific Center, Head of ASPU Chair of Armenian New and Modern Literature and its Teaching Methods, Professor Suren Danielyan and congratulated the teachers :
Professor Danielyan did not conceal that he is proud of the teachers from the Diaspora who have made up for their lack of knowledge in the institution named Khachatur Abovyan and have achieved success. "We can somehow call you Pedagogical University students, and this farewell is a good start to new meetings."
Diaspora Armenian teachers expressed gratitude for organizing the trainings at a high level, which, besides acquiring new knowledge, abilities and skills, enabled them to visit the sights of the homeland, participate in cultural events, participate in various meetings.
It should be noted that for the third year the Pedagogical University has been training Diaspora Armenian teachers at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science. This year, from July 1-26, 56 teachers from 15 countries participated in the program and were trained in 5 study groups. |

| ASPU Lecturer Attended Seminar |
Recently, within the framework of the TRIF (Theory of Solving Inventory Problems) pedagogy, New Generation Education International has organized a seminar for educators in Moscow.
The aim of the seminar was to familiarize the wide range of pedagogues with the theoretical basics, tools and techniques of TRIF pedagogy. Attached to the seminar were 3 free places to participate and participants were to be selected by motivation letter. One of them was Arevik Khugeyan, a lecturer at the Chair of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology at the ASPU Faculty of Primary Education.
The seminar, attended by about 20 representatives of different cities of Russia, was equipped with theoretical and practical assignments.
In an interview with www.aspu.am Arevik Khugeyan stressed that the creative and working atmosphere created was enough to teach new technology.
“The purpose of TRIF pedagogy is to teach children how to solve a single problem, to formulate the right questions. The theoretical and practical skills gained as a result of the seminar will enrich my professional knowledge to apply them both in the practical part of the dissertation and in the basis of the subjects to be read, ”added Arevik Khugeyan.

| The Most Educational Way to Sum Up the Winter Holidays |
The best form of vacation for students is spending active and busy days under one roof; guided by this principle the Pedagogical University united its 70 students at the educational base in Aghavnadzor.
Students with outstanding academic progress from 10 Faculties, who have been active, and who participated in the four-day war of April, are spending together the last five days of their winter break in a busy schedule on 3-8 February.
Wake-up, morning exercise, breakfast, sports activities, dinner, watching a movie, learning national dances, competitions, supper, disco; this is the mandatory schedule for the day, which is also replenished with meetings with representatives from various fields. At their leisure time the students are united over music, singing, disco and get-togethers near fire. Thanks to the active pastime and full rest, the students will start their new year with better vigour.
The free winter vacation, arranged for already ten years, is an interesting method of exchange of experience, thoughts and ideas, it is also an exciting way of making new connections, as well as an element of educational activity. It is the most educative form of summarizing the winter break that is also a wonderful option to get to know people studying at the same educational institution. The third-year student of the Faculty of Culture Ani Kirakosyan has already managed to make friends with other students. Within only 24 hours such warm atmosphere was established that made all of us become friends”.
The fourth-year student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Elen Samvelyan agrees with Ani’s idea about the unity of students of various faculties.
“Due to the professional organization we manage to do everything during the day, including discussions, intellectual games, student meetings, and at the same time we obtained new circle of friends”.
All conditions are in place for students to have safe and secure holidays.
Particularly, the students speak with special satisfaction of fresh and diverse food; everybody agreed that the food was tasty, useful and pleasant. Each meal was prepared with healthy dietary instructions and in accordance with the time of the day.
The student of the Faculty of Culture Elen Nikoghosyan is excited with the vacation accommodations; “This break is the best opportunity for the students to have rest. With the positive vibes gained we will start the year better prepared and filled with new ideas.”
In addition, the Student Council had an active role in organization of the vacation; the Committees thereof arranged a wide-scope of leisure events for students.
The students’ activities continue at the Aghavnadzor educational base. The vacations will finish on 7 February, and the students will start a new academic term all rested and full of positive vibes. |
